Timeless Master Bathroom Remodel

Sometimes clients contact us with a vision in mind for their space. Other times clients prefer to receive guidance to clarify their desires for their home. We pride ourselves in being able to work with both types of clients. The master bathroom remodel featured here belongs to a client who had a vision, but wanted a professional, competent team to partner with to execute that vision. That’s where we came in.

While some bathrooms need reconstructive surgery, this one just needed a makeover. Lanie wanted to maintain the existing floor plan and the cabinets in her master bathroom, but wanted to update colors, change out the tile and upgrade to quartz counter tops.

The first thing that had to go was the yellowing cultured marble garden tub. Our client opted to go with a free-standing tub from Kohler with simple, clean lines. To avoid having to chip out concrete in order to install new drain lines our Lead Carpenter built a raised platform to house the new plumbing. The finished result actually served two purposes: not only did it save the client money by forgoing budget-breaking plumbing expenses, but it also acted as a sort of raised stage to showcase the beautiful tub.

We also removed the old cultured marble counter tops and shower surround and replaced them with elegant customer-selected finishes like marble-look quartz and marble look ceramic tiles. Lanie selected brushed gold plumbing fixtures from Moen for the tub and faucets and a Delta shower trim kit to finish out the space.

The most impressive part of this remodel was the fact that we utilized the old cabinets. Lanie selected Sherwin Williams “Porpoise” to give new life to the cabinets and the result was better than we could have imagined.
